FRANCE PAVILION will present an exceptional curated exhibition of French contemporary artists in Houston, as the opening event of the Texas French Culture Festival.

FRANCE PAVILION will showcase a selection of emerging and established French artists, such as world-acclaimed top selling French sculptor Richard Orlinski, French artist Nadine Debien or Le Closier, most known for his portraits of sport celebrities, who will be paying a special tribute to several Texas iconic figures. Most of the artists presented never exhibited in Houston before.

Guest Artist: Mr.D – Sebastien Boileau, famous Houstonian artist, will celebrate his 30 years as an artist during a special NUIT DU CHAMPAGNE at FRANCE PAVILION.

FRANCE PAVILION will be held under the High Patronage of the Honorable Sujiro Seam, Consul General of France in Houston.

The Consul General of France will host a special VIP Reception at the Consul General’s Official Residence to celebrate French Cultural Diversity and the opening of FRANCE PAVILION during the Houston Art Fairs Week.

The Consul General of France will also host an art exhibit at the French Consulate in Houston, presenting a selection of France Pavilion’s artists.



FRANCE PAVILION Houston will be open, free admission to public, from Friday March 3 to Sunday, March 5, 2017, from 10AM to 8PM (3PM on Sunday)

School day in partnership with the Houston Independent School District from 9AM to 4PM

 VIP opening under the patronage of H.E. Sujiro Seam, Consul General of France in Houston, and his spouse Jane Ren (6pm to 8 pm)

Closing Reception of FRANCE PAVILION at the Residence of the Consul General of France in Houston

France Pavilion Houston will be presenting French contemporary artists and guests, at the Sawyer Yards Winter Studios spanning over 7,000 square feet.
Sawyer yards is an industrial redevelopment project in Houston’s historic First Ward, ideally located near downtown, in the heart of the Washington Avenue Arts District.



Jane REN, the First French Lady of Houston, will curate an exceptional program of performing arts: Lyrical music and dance, and the special exhibition at the French Residence.

FRANCE PAVILION is partnering with the HOUSTON INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT,allowing hundreds of kids to enjoy an unique art experience with curated private tours, hosted by Sebastien Laboureau, proceeded by an art talk at the French residence with Jane Rem.

FRANCE PAVILION is also partnering with the Texas French Alliance for the Arts to support its art educating program.

FRANCE PAVILION is partnering with the Awty International School with an exclusive showcase of students ‘art work, and the participation of volunteer students ambassadors to support our events.
